Year 7 Concerts During October
Year 7 students celebrated their first half-term at Dane Court, by singing in two concerts on the 16th and 17th October. These concerts were great benchmark of students' singing ability, their progress so far, and provided a lovely opportunity for parents to come and see what they have been doing!
Form groups 7H, 7N and 7S's concert was on Thursday the 16th, followed by 7B, 7D and 7T on Friday the 17th. The concerts showcase each class choir, a number of very brave soloists and all classes singing two songs together in a mass choir.
Both events were packed, with standing room only at the back of the Theatre. The students performed brilliantly, and we must give a special mention to our soloists, Marina, Marcie, Vera, Echo, Avi, Daisy, Dalia and Willow, whose performances were truly fantastic.
Moving to secondary school is a huge change, and we are very proud of the start year 7 have made, and how seamlessly they have adjusted to learning at Dane Court. So congratulations to them all and long may it continue!
