WisePay
WisePay Guide for Parents and Guardians
Dane Court Grammar School uses WisePay as our secure and preferred online payment system. It is a convenient, safe way to pay for school trips, purchase revision items, and top up your child's school meal account for the canteen.
Getting Started
WisePay can be accessed via the web or through the free WisePay app. During the summer holidays, the school will send you your login username, password, and the unique Organisation Code.
Important App Detail: When downloading the app for the first time or setting it up on a new device, you will be required to input our Organisation Code: 91698617
School Meals and Cafeteria Top-ups
Navigating to the 'Food and Drink Payments' section allows you to view the student's current balance, view purchase histories, and past credits. You can also view the three-weekly school meal menus directly on the portal or app.
Please note:
-
To ensure funds are available when needed, we recommend topping up at least one working day in advance. Although meal payments are processed immediately, the updated balance will not show up instantly on WisePay or at the school tills. This delay occurs because the system relies on a daily data sync with the school's local database. However, you can verify that your payment went through right away by logging into WisePay and clicking 'My WisePay Account' at the top of the screen, where you can also view a full history of canteen purchases.
-
Transaction Costs: The school incurs a processing fee for every individual transaction. We kindly request that you top up using the largest amount possible to help us minimise these background operational costs.
-
Daily Spending Limits: If you wish to ensure your child does not spend too much at any one time, you can put a daily spending cap in place. Please write or email directly to the school office specifying the exact limit you would like set up.
School Trips and Activities
WisePay helps us keep you informed of school trips without having to rely on physical letters home. Please note that you will only see trips that your specific child is eligible to take part in.
The trip process generally flows as follows:
-
Expressing Interest: Before a trip is officially launched, we usually gauge participant numbers by asking parents and guardians to express interest. You will be notified of this window via email, and must log into your app or portal to register. It is imperative that you only express interest if you are sure your child wants to go and the trip is financially viable for you, as we use these figures to calculate accurate final pricing.
-
Approved Trip Payments: Once the trip is approved, an email notification will confirm your child has been offered a place and that payments are now open on WisePay. You will see the total cost displayed clearly.
-
Instalments and Tracking: For larger, more expensive trips, you can choose to pay in smaller instalments. Organisers set these instalment schedules in line with when the school must commit payments to travel operators. Your account portal will maintain a real-time history of what you have paid and what you still owe. It is critical to adhere strictly to the schedule, so the school does not fall behind on external travel commitments.
Classroom Sales
As items are required throughout the academic year, you will receive email alerts informing you that specific resources—such as calculators and revision guides—are available to purchase for your child via the platform.
A comprehensive WisePay User Guide is available for parents. This guide can be accessed via a dedicated link on the dashboard or by scrolling to the bottom of the portal home page once you are logged into your account.
