Summer Soloists Concert
Last night (Thursday 11th June) was the Summer Soloists concert - 'Here Comes the Sun' - in the DCGS theatre. This was an opportunity for students having instrumental lessons at school to showcase their progress. Our peripatetic instrumental teachers are a wonderful team and between lessons with great teachers and consistent practice, our students have come on leaps and bounds this year!
Well done to all performers, it takes real courage to stand up in front of an audience of peers and parents and perform, especially if you are new to your instrument. Thank you to our wonderful peri team for their hard work with our students, and well done to Mrs Warren for putting on such a lovely opportunity for and accompanying many of the students!

We have 9 visiting peripatetic teachers teaching the full range of orchestral and band instruments. There is funding support available for low income families as we would never want finances to be a barrier to instrumental learning.
