Please see details of our PE events this week!
U13 Girls - Our U13 Girls played their first game of the season against Charles Dickens last Tuesday, and wow, what a game! Our girls started off slowly, as they have never played as a team before, they were 2-0 down in the first 10 minutes. However, this did not phase the team, and they worked tirelessly to bring it back. The girls pulled together and worked as a team, communicating and making excellent runs to progress down the pitch. This resulted in Dane Court winning with an astounding score of 8-5. Our goal-scorers of the game were Claudia (x4), Indigo (x3) and Holly.
Second game of the week for our U13 Girls last week vs St George's. Unfortunately, the girls could not break through the St. George's defensive line to capitalise on any advances. St. Georges played a strong side, and our girls worked hard, keeping their heads in the game to try and win the ball back. Unfortunately, this game resulted in a loss. But our team played fantastically throughout!
U12 Boys - The U12 Boys took on St. Georges on Wednesday, and could not capitalise on any passes, or make any runs towards the goal to progress up the pitch. We came away with a loss on this occasion, but we will be more prepared and even stronger next time. Our goal-scorer of the game was Orlando!
U13 Boys - On Wednesday, the year 7 boys football team played in an entertaining end-to-end game away against St. Georges. The game had chances at both ends, unfortunately, resulting in a 2-1 loss with the home side stealing the win in the dying moments of the game. The boys look forward to their Kent Cup 2nd round match next week. Our goal scorer was Orlando.
On Tuesday last week, our U13 boys took on King Ethelbert in a league game. Our boys came out strongly, resulting in a 2-1 win. Our goal-scorers of the game were Berti and Zach.
U14 Boys - On Wednesday our U14 boys played King Ethelbert, home to Dane Court. Unfortunately, we could not get past the opposition's defence and make any clear shots. This resulted in a loss.
