On Holocaust Memorial Day we remember the six million Jewish men, women and children who were murdered, and the millions more murdered under Nazi persecution. We also learn and commemorate where persecution led in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. Alongside community and religious leaders, and our friends from other local secondary schools, our students reflected on the lives lost, and participated in moments of remembrance — acknowledging the importance of standing together against prejudice and hatred.
