These participants are now in the process of completing their award by uploading evidence of their volunteering, physical or skills activities and getting their assessors to write a report to verify their activities. An example of the variety of activities being undertaken are events management, scout leader, woodland upkeep and litter picking for volunteering,  climbing, running,, squash and  tennis for physical and driving, quilting, sign language and cooking for skills.

Hopefully, we intend to hold a presentation in the theatre after school on Wednesday 17th April 2024 in recognition of the students' achievement of their Silver award.

Meanwhile, in October 2023,we recruited 22 new Year 12 participants on the Silver Duke of Edinburgh award programme and they are busy with their activities as well as attending regular training after school in preparation for their practice and qualifying expeditions in June of this year.
