Exam results days 2012

Dane Court students due to receive examination results this summer are reminded of the following:

GCSE results are released on Thursday 23 August 2012. They can be collected from 11:00am on the day. Please go to the Neuchatel house space (English area) at 11:00am.

Details of the procedure for year 11 Dane Court students wishing to progress to study in our sixth form can be found here.

External students wishing to join our sixth form will find advice here.

AS and A level results were released on Thursday 16 August 2012.

Details of the procedure for year 12 students progressing to year 13 can be found here.

Changes to our Parent Gateway

The old "Parent Gateway" is offline

As part of wider changes in Dane Court's computer and technology provision, the monitoring service for parents, available via your web browser, will be replaced by a brand new facility in the Autumn.

Olympic torch in town

Crowds welcomed the Olympic torch as it was carried through Broadstairs and the surrounding towns.
As it passed a few hundred metres from Dane Court, Mrs Susan Flory took over the torchbearing. Mrs Flory is a parent of past Dane Court students and a long-time supporter of the school and our local community. Mrs Flory handed the flame on to Team GB tennis olympian Elena Baltacha.

Earlier in the day, year nine Dane Court student Chloe Gambrill carried the flame at Ramsgate harbour.

Clean sweep at Thanet athletics championships

On Wednesday 4 July, under the baking sun Dane Court competed at the Thanet Athletics Championships, with all 4 teams becoming team champions (under 13s and under 15s boys and girls).
